研究專長

生醫材料與生物分子工程:
仿生雙離子功能性複合材料、智能型生醫薄膜、抗生物分子沾黏技術、血球分離技術

研究領域

仿生雙離子功能性複合材料:
透過雙離子結構體來仿照生物細胞膜的天然生物相容性界面,以此概念設計新一代多功能性複合材料於尖端醫療技術之應用。本實驗室研究團隊目前致力於開發可使用於人體血液循環系統之奈米複合載體,透過雙離子體的結構變化來調控載體的多功能性,並與藥物或DNA進行結合,未來可應用於人體疾病之標靶治療。

智能型生醫薄膜:
用於生化分離之生醫薄膜是發展國家醫療產業的重要基礎,而未來提升生醫薄膜應用價值的關鍵在於其材料多功能性的設計與控制。本實驗室研究團隊目前致力於開發具環境響應的智能型生醫薄膜,用於高價值細胞之純化與回收,如人體之肝細胞,未來可應用於再生醫學工程的發展。

抗生物分子沾黏技術:
生醫材料與生物環境接觸時,材料表面容易產生生物分子的不特定吸附沾黏,而降低了生醫材料的功能性,因此建立抗生物分子沾黏方法的設計準則對於發展高階生醫技術是重要的關鍵基石。本實驗室研究團隊目前致力於開發各種有效的表面改質方法來提升各種類型材料(金屬、陶瓷、高分子)的表面抗生物分子沾黏特性,未來可應用於抗凝血、抗組織沾黏、抗菌、抗藻類等材料表面處理技術的發展。

血球分離技術:
人體血液之相關處理技術的建置已成為促進國家生物科技發展的重要環節,而目前國內有關於血液分離、檢測與淨化方面之核心處理技術所需之相關醫療或醫檢產品皆須向國外公司採購,國內尚無自行研發之產品上市。為建立血液分離的關鍵技術,本實驗室研究團隊目前致力於開發高效率特定血球捕捉與分離薄膜系統,技術指標為移除血液中之白血球,以防止輸血副作用、改善免疫異常反應、癌症治療以及減低臍帶血保存副作用。目前實驗室已發展出原創性之核心技術,以突破國外大廠之現有技術專利保護,未來最終研發產品將包含白血球/紅血球分離器與白血球/血小板分離器。
